Sumit was part of a group of 120 children who went for exposure learning to the Biodiversity Park in Hazaribag. For Sumit going with his friends in a bus was a thrill. The youth conducted. Few sessions for children that helped to build their self-confidence and self-esteem.

21 youth work with 1000 children at the education centers supported by DKA, Austria. Here children centered activities are organized. Like meena bazaar, picnics and sports for children. The youth who accompanied these children act as facilitator and guide.

 Badal and Sumit are both members of the Kasiadih Bal Sansad(Children’s’ Parliament) a local children’s organization consisting of 90 children. There is a growing awareness among children to keep their surrounding clean and to consume less packaged foods.

Children from Kasiadih area organized meena bazaar(children’s’ fair) every year. Here children organized games and different types of snacks. 150 children participated in the meena bazaar. They learnt simple and practical ways to become financially literate. The children learn to become self-confidence and parents contribute towards their growth.
